Jon Rappleye

Born 1967 in Provo Utah. His work has been exhibited throughout the United States, including exhibitions at Jeff Bailey Gallery, New York City; Richard Heller Gallery, Los Angeles; Rhodes College, Memphis; The Salina Art Center, Salina Kansas; Jersey City Museum, Jersey City; Burlington City Arts, Burlington Vermont and the New Britain Museum of American Art, Connecticut. His work is included in the collections of the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas; The Progressive Corporation, Ohio; West Collection, Pennsylvania; U.S. Art in Embassies and the New Britain Museum of American Art, Connecticut. He attended the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture and had been an artist in residence at the University of Nevada, LasVegas; MacDowell Colony; Cooper Union Residency Program; New York City; The John Michael Kohler Arts Center, among other venues. He has received grants from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, The Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation; The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation and the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission. He received his MFA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
