Mitchell Gaudet

Arthur Roger Gallery is pleased to present Re-Purpose, a solo exhibition of monumental sculptural works by Louisiana artist Mitchell Gaudet. Working at the intersection of sculpture, architecture, and spiritual symbolism, Gaudet combines reclaimed religious iconography—including wood Buddhas, santos, and plaster lambs—with luminous cast glass, steel, cast iron, concrete, and precious metal leaf. Rather than treating these salvaged items as relics of the past, Gaudet transforms them into vessels for renewal, inviting viewers into an immersive meditation on memory, devotion, and transformation.
