Dawn DeDeaux: Does Anyone Remember Laughter? Lost Landscapes and Lonely Men
Dawn DeDeaux describes the works in this exhibition, her seventh with the gallery, as post-apocalyptic constructs. Large metal panels present vistas of lost landscapes, both charred and barren and submerged in water. Lone, nostalgic guardians, first responders and galactic explorers materialize stimulating joyous memories in their highly decorative protective suits – the fashion of the future for hostile new frontiers.
