For her installation at the Arthur Roger Gallery Linda Ridgway is creating “Without Ceremony.” The title is taken from a line of an early poem by Sylvia Plath: ” … But let spotted leaves fall as they fall,/Without ceremony or portent.” “Without Ceremony” will include bronze sculptures, graphite drawings on paper, and photographic prints. Her installation will include a wall of leaves cast in bronze in the same thickness as a leaf and provided with a silver pewter patina. Several photographic prints will also be part of the installation.
