Artist Statement
Intimacy has always been a critical quality in my work: how to find the extraordinary in the ordinary and present it conversationally? The isolation of the pandemic brought an acute focus on my own habits and the difficulty of sharing them with others. Making empathetic work in isolation requires faith in human nature.
