"As with so much of my work, I've used images that combine the tension between things that are both dangerous and also beautiful. In observing jellyfish since childhood, I am struck by their delicate and graceful beauty. It is magical the way they move and change colors, especially considering they are mostly transparent. A group of them, with some kind of musical balance, was a fascinating subject for me."
