The exhibit is distilled from Mitchell Gaudet’s collection of found objects and includes an antique display case filled with a collection of old bottles, circa 1850-1950, that were dug in New Orleans. Each bottle is sealed with a pewter designed stopper molded from found objects. Gaudet’s exhibit will also include small figurines presented on pedestals and constructed from broken remains collected by the artist. The reinterpreted figurines are redesigned with pewter and bronze components.
