Gene Koss 2011

The Arthur Roger Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of recent glass sculpture by internationally known artist Gene Koss. Included in the exhibition will be Koss’ monumental work, “Line Fence,” a 25-foot-long glass and stainless steel sculpture and several smaller mixed media works. The exhibition will be on view from January 8th – February 19th, 2011 at the Arthur Roger Gallery, located at 432 Julia Street. The gallery will host an opening reception to meet the artist on Saturday, January 8th, from 6 to 8 pm.

“John Alexander at Corcoran Gallery of Art,” Express Night Out

Political careers aren’t the only kind born in D.C. Painter John Alexander credits the city with starting his ascent in the art world. He displayed his work at the Corcoran Gallery of Art’s 35th Biennial Exhibition of Contemporary American Painting in 1977, after then-Corcoran curator Jane Livingston visited Texas and saw his work.
