Jacqueline Bishop has based much of her imagery on frequent trips to remote regions in North, South, and Central America including the Amazon rainforest. She is also deeply drawn to Louisiana’s coastal ecology. Her work celebrates the beauty of nature but also can convey a sense of impending doom.
